If the host manages to defeat the Tera Raid, their crystal will disappear.
No LP is given for visiting the same crystal subsequent times, or for joining a raid hosted by another player. Visiting each crystal for the first time awards a certain amount of LP, even if the player chooses not to participate in the raid: Crystals associated with a Poké Portal News event will also be surrounded by circular ring-shaped auras when up close, and their type icons on the map will have a thicker, glowing border. These black raid crystals are displayed with the correct type icon on the minimap, but are displayed with a black background and subtle purple glow.
The color of the crystal will also indicate the Tera Type of the Pokémon within, with the exception of black 6★ and 7★ difficulty crystals. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining PearlĪ Grass Tera crystal, containing a Grass Tera-type PokémonĪ number of shining crystals will be scattered across Paldea, which are visible at a distance in the overworld by a beam of light shooting up from them if they have not already been visited.
